"Life is fleeting: Fragile and fragile but together" is a photograph of two beautiful lanterns from the lantern plant. These two lanterns are almost the same in shape but in terms of "skin" they differ enormously. The one on the left (seen from the viewer) still has its orange skin. You can see that it has already been sun-dried. This allows you to see the grain structure in the skin. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this nicely. You can also see that the right-hand lantern has only a vein structure left. The rest of the skin has almost completely disappeared. This warm golden structure can be seen beautifully against the warm green background (I would describe this colour green myself as pistachio green).
There is something sweet and vulnerable about this photo. The two lanterns are standing with their "noses" against each other and it looks like a couple in love. But you can see that they are impermanent and especially the lantern on the right is very fragile.
This warm picture could hang beautifully in the kitchen, single room or just above the bed in the bedroom, for example!
