About the artwork
In this picture, you can see some of the things I love. First, the colours: mainly shades of green and blue. Green and blue are a perfect match for me. They are colours that you also find in nature: the green landscape with the blue sky above it. And these two colours mixed together produce the beautiful turquoise, my favourite colour! Secondly, it is a fantasy image. A fantasy artwork where I used my creativity to the fullest, and it is also an abstract image. You wonder what you are looking at? What am I seeing, what is it? It is actually an exploration into the wonderful world of colour and light! I discovered what happens when you hold an everyday object in front of the lens of your camera. The world then looks completely different. Everything you normally see in focus is suddenly all blurred and faded. The colours of your surroundings blend together beautifully. In this mysterious world, nothing is recognisable anymore. And when the sun starts shining, beautiful works of light art appear in front of your lens that you would never be able to see in the normal world! As far as I am concerned, the world has become a much more beautiful place! Enjoy this work of art on your wall and let your imagination run wild. I am curious to see what you see in it.
