The core of an Indian cress flower ablaze. In the evening, the sun was already low and shining right through the hedge, and a single ray of sunlight hit the flower right in the middle. The effect was that the flower itself remained dark, but the core was brightly lit. Using a macro lens, I quickly took this picture before it was too late. This looks like a vortex from Star Trek, a tunnel to another dimension. That's how I picture it, because well, I have no idea what they look like. Maybe they look like a flower of the Indian cress.
