About ‘Mother Earth's eye looks at us. Hand-painted .’ by Ineke de Rijk
The eye of Mother Earth looks at us and exhorts us to embrace each other with love and softness in this difficult time. Love , gentleness and to respect and accept each other will hopefully one day bring us closer together . The world will always go on despite everything on this earth.

Ineke de Rijk's inspiring travels
From the Algarve to The GambiaI have time to draw and paint more after years of volunteer work for the St. Care Foundation The Gambia. Inspiration I got in the Gambia where I also lived. The colors, the population and life is a great source of inspiration. But also the quieter life now is inspiring to use softer colours and to work more with pastel chalk. But still it's nice to work in all kinds of colours and to try out new techniques and new materials.
