I often go hiking in the Forestry Commission forest in St Anthonis in North Brabant. The appeal of the area is the great diversity of trees, birds and the many fine footpaths. One part I like to photograph is a birch forest. When the light is beautiful, the look of the birches is impressive.
This photo was taken while moving the camera. So ICM (in camera movement) which in this case gives a vertical movement. The centre of the photo is right in the light and thus immediately catches your eye.
The forest is still easily recognisable, which for me makes the photo more peaceful.
