The Necker mill near Purmerend in the evening light of the setting sun. The summer of 2018 was summer in every sense of the word. It was warm and dry for a long time and the sky was only blue. Except for in the evening, when the sun set. Then the polders were bathed in the summer warm evening light and the setting sun set the sky on fire. I took this picture from Neck, the small town near Purmerend. From Neck I had a clear view of the polder, the windmill and the setting sun.
