New York Bridge Park offers a breathtaking view of the iconic Manhattan skyline. Located directly on the banks of the East River, the panorama stretches from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Statue of Liberty, with the gleaming skyscrapers of Lower Manhattan in the centre. The view is particularly impressive at sunset, when the glass facades of the skyscrapers reflect the warm light and the first lights of the city switch on.
Dominating the skyline is the One World Trade Center, which at 541 metres high is a symbol of the city's resilience and progress. Next to it rise other striking buildings such as the Woolworth Building with its neo-Gothic architecture and the slender 8 Spruce Street by Frank Gehry.
