Who doesn't know Positano? The unmistakable neighbourhoods, the different generations you see in the people, but also in the buildings. The sweet air you will breathe only here and the peaceful calm that descends on you is unique.

I put a free interpretation on this subject, to make the whole thing small-scale, romantic and yet somewhat adventurous. I also gave it a lot of depth and complemented the scene with mountains, night clouds and the moon in the distance.

With this work, I tried to depict the typical Italian atmosphere and culture and the love I have for this country. Italy has and gives passion, rock & roll, togetherness. Italy is an individual and a family in one.

This work was also created intuitively, I always give the emotions and memories space and the creation follows.

I used to paint in a communal studio and everyone else, paint something after. Always they got stuck with their work, were insecure and too hard on themselves. I never did and there was always a sense of calm and peace while creating. Art is in your heart and soul, not in an example......

This beautiful work, you can hang anywhere in your home. The soft colours, sometimes sharp edges and immeasurable depth make it suitable for dreaming away in the bedroom or for admiring in the living room. That way the TV will stay off for a change :-)
