Around midnight, the northern lights can be seen regularly over the Norwegian landscape during the month of March. The condition is that there are no clouds. I see this beautiful scene on the Lofoten above the mountains. The weather is clear so the green glow is clearly visible: a curtain of light hangs over the mountains. The aurora moves; it is a fantastic spectacle caused by eruptions on the sun. This releases magnetically charged particles into the universe and thus into our atmosphere.
And what a lot of stars there are to see!
