It always starts with an empty table and a stack of magazines. With a basic colour in mind, I simply start collecting. After a while, I lay everything scattered on the table. And then something special begins; separate collected images start to tell a story together.
Real bright orange is hard to find in magazines. But fortunately, there are many different shades of orange to be found. Partly because of this, this collage has a 'vintage vibe'. This mood is supported by the old-fashioned orange television, the housewife and the cheerful patterns.
This work is made in A5 format. All images are hand torn.
