The Waterwolf pumping station in the hamlet of Electra in the province of Groningen uses four diesel engines and one electric motor to pump the abundant water supplied from the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe into the Reitdiep, towards Zoutkamp, and eventually the Lauwersmeer reservoir. A double rainbow appears above the Groningen landscape. The high water levels in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe create another challenge for the Dutch water boards.
