This image shows a close-up of several ice cubes that have been staged using coloured light. The cubes are clearly structured and reflect an intense colour spectrum of violet, blue, red and yellow. My inspiration was the idea of developing an abstract, almost futuristic visual language with a perishable material like ice. The geometric clarity of the cubes meets the unpredictability of light and colour - an exciting contrast that brings the picture to life.
I wanted to create an atmosphere that oscillates between technical coolness and artistic warmth. The picture should not only have an aesthetic effect, but also encourage reflection on materiality and perception.
In interior design, this work is particularly suitable for modern, urban spaces. It brings colour, texture and a touch of coolness to minimalist environments - be it a bar, an office or a creative studio.
