I found the small branch with beautiful seed pods during a walk in the forest (in Chaugey, FR). Inside the beige seed boxes are deep black seeds, three in each box. I carefully brought this beautiful surprise from nature home with me. As soon as the light was right, I placed it on the blue fabric. With my Canon on the tripod, I photographed it from different angles. After careful selection, I judged this photo to be the best. The textile consists of a number of patches. With a zigzag stitch I stitched them together. I love textiles as well as this kind of beautiful remnants of plants. The regular structure of the fabric contrasts nicely with the "messy" of the seed pods. Together they give a soft expression. A relaxing image to look at.
