This image is composed of three images: one shot of a misty forest in central Limburg, one of a row of trees near Doetinchem and one of an egret in flight in the middle of the country. By working with overlays, the white-coloured egret was given colours like a peacock and now looks very special and stands out against the background. The whole makes an Oriental, perhaps Japanese, impression. The three nature photos have become one graphic whole.

As an "experience photographer" I want to capture feelings in images, whether it's a landscape, an animal, a portrait or a concert. In my photographs I want to show my involvement, feeling for the subject and the atmosphere of the moment. Photography has been my passion for a long time. In order to increase my skills, a few years ago I followed the vocational training at the Fotovakschool. Besides my job as a psychologist and my passion for nature photography I also work on commission: business photography, portrait and family shoots, weddings and much more. I also have a lot of experience with theatre and concert photography (musical, orchestra, choir). All this through my company Karin de Jonge-Fotografie. I am also a photographer of funerals at my other company Blijvende Beelden. Sometimes you have moments that "click" and that make you very happy.
