In my painting only the moment counts, the desire to paint. A dance with colours, a destruction, a rebuilding. Finally a dialogue with the colours, the canvas and myself. Sometimes the pictures remain in the abstraction, or then again, e.g. by a single color can be the trigger for a figurative composition.
That's how the "Shopping Queens" came into being. The original has a dimension of 80x80cm.
A mixed technique in acrylic and quartz sand on canvas, executed with brush, pencils and sponge. A lively, light work with clear, seemingly moving figures, contrasted in colour with lively lines. The background is more static with geometric structures and more subtle colours.
During my study period I worked mainly in stone, sometimes in wood. Figural and abstract. I learned to transfer graphic designs and sculptural models into large sculptures. A process of spatial prehension and its execution.
