Usually I am not into phototourism; driving to a well-known beautiful place to take pictures. When I hear the stories about how some places are crowded in the morning to get rid of your tripod, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. "You will never find me in the Hallerbos or on the Posbank" was often my motto. Nevertheless, I have also been guilty of a bit of phototourism by going with photographer friends to the Speulderbos several times. Because of what I had seen of it and the lack of beautiful old forests in the area, I could not resist the temptation. It yielded a few photos anyway, although it was hard to see the forest through all the trees. I guess it's because I wasn't used to it.
