St. Catherine's Church in Eindhoven on the Catharina Square and at the foot of Stratumseind. Another work in my shop only shows the two towers above Stratumseind. Here you can see some more of this neo-Gothic church from 1867.
This is not the original church that was in the same location. The original church was first mentioned in 1240 and was demolished in 1836. In 1861 the construction of the present church, designed by architect Pierre Cuypers, began.
St Catherine's Church has been a national monument since 1972.
