High above park de Plantage in Culemborg, these 2 storks are sitting on their nest.
This nest is not only their home, but also a sign of spring and nature coming alive in this beautiful park.
Park de Plantage has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. the park was originally laid out as a landscape park and was where the nobility and wealthy residents strolled.
Over the years, this Zocher-designed park became more accessible to the public and turned into a place where everyone can enjoy nature.
Personally, I find the park most special in February, when thousands of crocuses bloom and colour the ground lilac.
But I also enjoy coming here in autumn.
