Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Sun breaking through’ by Jan van der Knaap

The sun slowly breaks through the thick clouds and sends down sunbeams. These sunbeams – also known as Jacob’s ladders, or by the rather technical term ‘crepuscular rays’, which nobody actually uses – are bright beams of light caused by gaps in the cloud cover. The light then breaks through the gaps and sweeps across the landscape. Through one of the gaps, you can also see the sun here. Follow the rays upwards and you’ll see the sun. The clouds look dark and gloomy here, but what you’re seeing is their unshined underside. Through the gaps, you can see the blue sky.
