Adult bald eagles actually have no natural predators other than humans. However, eggs and chicks are at risk of being captured by predators.
The length of an adult bald eagle is 70 to 92 cm, the wing span is 200 to 250 cm and the weight 3.1 to 7.5 kg. A bald eagle can live up to 20 years.
Because of its large wingspan, the bald eagle is also called the "flying door.
