The Mill of Piet is a typical city mill, beautifully situated on the Singel of Alkmaar. The mill was built in 1769 and has served as a corn mill ever since. With its majestically turning sails, the mill attracts all the attention, not only of the people of Alkmaar itself, but also of the tourists who visit Alkmaar.
