The door of an abandoned house in an uninhabited village in a desolate landscape. It is a scene I often encountered in the mountains and valleys of Huesca.
There was a time when people lived here and there was movement. The only movement left now is the movement of decay, a slow, silent process.
I love these locations. I explore them with my camera and isolate fragments there. The camera captures the traces of decay, but also stops it. Old becomes timeless. A contemporary still life is born.
