About the artwork

Washing hangs dries above a yellow tent. The line is stretched between two pine trees. The flap of the tent is open, but we cannot see inside. Could the residents be there or have they gone for a walk? The story is yours to dream up.

Although the image is sleek in style, it evokes memories of times I spent in nature. The forests and mountains of my childhood always keep coming back in my dreams. They form my inner landscape.

The yellow tent is a symbol of freedom and the timeless existence experienced during summer holidays. As a child, such a periods seemed to stretch till infinity and the summer wouldn't seem to end.

The smell of pine needles on sandy soil, moss and blueberries. Swimming in a lake and drying clothes on a line. And at night roasting potatoes in the fire and threading sausages on a stick.

Why do we seem to spend less and less time in nature? Let this image be a reminder that you may go on an adventure. See this work as a graphic, simplified version of your dreams.

For adventurers and nature lovers, dreamers and dare devils. People who dare to walk their own path.

I get my inspiration from nature and like to daydream. Animals and people sometimes seem to melt together in these reveries.
