Inspired by the painting , Wheatfield under thunderstorm sky by Vincent van Gogh, I processed a postcard into a collage with the colour palette famous for van Gogh, yellow, blue, green.
The thunderstorm sky is made blue and white strips of paper , the cornfield with yellow and orange strips of paper. The strips of paper are reminiscent of Vincent van Gogh's painting hand, short thick brush strokes with thick paint.
The painting is in the centre, which now draws even more attention to it,
It is an ode to van Gogh.
