This is a tulip bulb field near Egmond aan den Hoef in North Holland. In spring, the fields in this region look colorful. Fields of tulips, sometimes as far as the eye can see, color by color, and in rows next to each other, the tulips grow until harvest for trade. The tulips are lifted, stem and all, for the flower trade. The tulip fields are truly world-famous in the Netherlands, and probably beyond. Tourists flock to them. Of course, the blooming bulb fields can only be seen for a few weeks in the spring, in April and May.
