About ‘Utrecht fietsstad’ by Jan van der Knaap

Utrecht is uitgeroepen tot tweede fietsstad ter wereld. Of dat terecht is weet ik niet, maar de stad ritselt wel van de fietsers en fietsenstallingen. De grootste fietsenstalling ter wereld onder Utrecht Centraal is al deels in gebruik en wordt binnenkort volledig opgeleverd. Hier heeft een waarschijnlijk jonge vrouw haar omafiets gestald in het straatlicht van het Stationsplein in Utrecht. De straatlamp schijnt een puist licht naar boven en werpt een harde schaduw van de fiets op de achterliggende muur.
Oud en nieuw. Die muur is nieuw aangelegd met hergebruikte stenen en is te vinden bij de tramhalte van Utrecht Centraal. De oude fiets heeft geen goede bel en verlichting, en geen slot. Misschien is dat de reden om de fiets zo in het straatlicht te zetten.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
