View from the North Sea beach from Knokke on Zeebrugge harbour. After sunset during the blue hour, there is calm on the beach. Walkers return home before evening actually falls. Birds cluster on the beach. Sometimes it pays to be patient as the picture totally changes. So too this late summer September evening during the blue hour. At the waterline, you can only hear the waves, seagulls and other birds. While further down the harbour there is still activity. Just like on the promenade where restaurants serve guests. Here you are alone to enjoy the beautiful view offered to you. Until the blue dissolves into the black of the oncoming night.
