I thought this was the Fan, but someone pointed out to me that these are White Ear mushrooms. They also look so much alike!
White Ear mushrooms (Crepidotus variabilis) are often found together on lying dead wood. Small cap of 3 to 5 centimetres. The colour is whitish and the surface feels felt-like. The photo is already from 2014 and I took it in the Heemtuin in Purmerend. Although the colour of the White Ear Mushroom is whitish (duh), this colour comes from the warm yellow autumn sun when I took the photo. I liked it and I'll leave it that way.
