Windmills in the fog near Urk.

Windpark Noordoostpolder is a Dutch wind farm. It was officially opened on 19 June 2017 by former Minister of Economic Affairs Maria van der Hoeven.[1] The wind farm consists of three parts: Westermeerwind (in the water), Zuidwester (between the Ketelbrug and Urk) and NOP Agrowind and is the largest in the Netherlands. There are 86 turbines along the IJsselmeerdijk in the municipality of Noordoostpolder, province of Flevoland, of which 38 are on land and 48 in the water. The onshore turbines are of type Enercon E-126, each with a capacity of 7.5 MW. The turbines outside the dikes are of type Siemens 3.0DD-108, each with a capacity of 3 MW. The total installed capacity is 429 MW. The largest turbines have a tip height of 198.5 metres, higher than the Euromast.[2] The wind farm has been granted a subsidy of € 916 million.

The plan, called 'Wind energy along the dikes of the Noordoostpolder', is a so-called national integration plan and is based on the Crisis and Recovery Act. The turbines are located 1.6 km away from the neighbouring municipality of Urk, from where a great deal of social resistance to the park arose. (Source: Wikipedia)

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
