Much used in cocktails, this citrus fruit has become a staple in our cuisine. As far as we know, with a pH of 2.1, the lime is the most acidic fruit there is and is therefore widely used as a flavouring. The fruit tree, which originates from Southeast Asia, does not withstand cold well and is therefore only found in Europe in southern countries.
