About the artwork

In this digital image, attention is immediately drawn to an imposing piece of a weathered, old stone house that fills almost the entire image. The structure shows a rich texture of lived history, with rough stones and traces of past glory hinting at times gone by. Next to the building is an even blue, cloudless summer sky, which forms a serene backdrop and enhances the historical character of the scene. The sun casts sharp shadows that accentuate the relief of the stones and suggest warmth.
At the bottom right, a weathered, enamel street sign is attached to the wall with the inscription "KOEPOORTSTRAAT", giving a concrete sense of place and evoking an atmosphere of nostalgia. Next to this sign, on a cement plinth, is a striking stone statue: St Martin on his horse. Captured in the moment he shares his cloak with a seated beggar - an iconic scene of charity and compassion. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
