About the artwork

Walking along the coast of a tropical island. Enjoying the peace, the view and the palm trees. Taking the occasional dip and doing some swimming or snorkeling. The world underwater may be more beautiful than the world above.

This photo was taken on the beach of one of the tropical Derawan Islands. These islands are located in the Celebes Sea east of Kalimantan province and also belong to this province. You sail there in less than an hour. And Kalimantan is again the eastern part of the island of Borneo. The province of Kalimantan belongs to Indonesia, while the provinces of Sabah and Sarawak belong to Malaysia. In the north of the island there is also the small country of Brunei.

I went to the Indonesian part of Borneo, because there are fewer tourists than in the part that belongs to Malaysia. Despite that, it is quite touristy on the Derawan Islands.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
