About ‘Above Lake Lünersee’ by Marcel Hechler

Actually, the Schafgafall—the peak towering above Lake Lünersee—was my destination for the day. But as I climbed, I simply couldn’t leave this view behind me.

Two rocky outcrops covered in mountain pine frame the lake like a natural stage. The water lies still and turquoise between them, the walls of the Rätikon reflected in its surface, whilst in the background the rugged peaks hold the whole scene in place.

The soft morning light and a fine mist over the mountains give the image a painterly quality — almost as if it were not a photograph, but a watercolour.

For me, this is one of those quiet moments whilst hiking when you forget your destination up above for a moment. An image for spaces that could do with a breath of fresh air — above the sofa, in the bedroom or in a study to take a deep breath.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
