About ‘Ardennes Forest’ by Sander Poppe

The Ardennes are known for their enchanting landscapes, vast forests and picturesque hiking trails. Especially around Bergeval, close to the charming town of Trois-Ponts, you will find an unprecedented tranquillity rarely experienced in the Netherlands. Here you can hike for hours through dense forests, where the only sounds you hear are the wind through the leaves and the gentle twittering of birds. The nature around Bergeval exudes tranquillity and invites you to truly unwind.

During one of my walks in this beautiful area, my attention was caught by a special scene in the forest. Several stately trees stood in the soft morning light, while in the foreground was an old tree stump that enhanced the image as a natural introductory line. This composition, captured in portrait mode, perfectly highlights the special atmosphere of the Ardennes woods: robust, mysterious and yet inviting.

For nature lovers, hikers and photographers, the forests of Bergeval offer countless unique views and photo opportunities. Whether you opt for a short hike or a long trek, the landscape continues to surprise. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
