About ‘Blue Nude’ by Matthias Stolt
I photographed the nude model in blue light in the studio. I had mounted blue filter foil in front of the studio flash unit. I used a light blue fabric as the background. This is how this attractively lit nude photograph was created. The photo was taken with an analogue SLR camera with a 1.4/85 mm telephoto lens on slide film.

I worked as a freelance photo designer for 25 years. My focus was on fashion and advertising photography. I am also the author of numerous books and articles in trade magazines.
Before becoming self-employed, I worked in marketing for a large camera manufacturer, where I was in charge of public relations.
I discovered my love of photography during my training as a retoucher. This sparked a desire not only to edit photos, but to take them myself.
