This work shows an abstract close-up of a net-like, shimmering metallic fabric in various shades of blue. The surface reflects light in a way that makes fine mesh structures visible. Coloured circles of light are created in the softly drawn areas through targeted depth of field - a creative technique from photography known as bokeh. This technique directs the eye away from the figurative and towards the perception of light, colour and structure.
The inspiration for this picture was the interplay of light and texture on technical fabrics. The aim was to use folding and selective focus to create a visual tension that oscillates between material presence and optical dissolution. The atmosphere appears calm, almost cool, but at the same time lively due to the light reflections.
In the context of abstract photography, the focus here is not on the object, but on the creative language of form: lines, grids, gradients of light and depth. The image conveys a sense of structure, clarity and visual openness. It is particularly suitable for modern, minimalist or technically inspired spaces and harmonises with trends such as "Material Awareness", "Digital Craft" or "Soft Industrial".
Its speciality lies in the combination of textile detail and photographic abstraction - a work that structures and visually focuses spaces.
