About "Christmas pyramid in front of Erfurt Cathedral"

About the artwork

The picture shows a festively illuminated Christmas pyramid on the cathedral square in Erfurt, taken in the evening hours. In the foreground is the multi-storey pyramid with traditional figures and candles, surrounded by warm light. To the right is a large, decorated Christmas tree. In the background, Erfurt Cathedral dominates the picture with its Gothic architecture and strikingly illuminated façade. The scene is quiet, but atmospherically dense - a moment between tradition and public space.

The cathedral square is one of the most important historical sites in Thuringia. Erfurt Cathedral, with roots dating back to the 8th century, together with the Severi Church, forms a defining ensemble of the city. The Christmas pyramid is part of Erfurt's Christmas market, which attracts numerous visitors every year.

My inspiration was to capture the combination of sacred architecture and popular Christmas tradition in a balanced image. The composition is characterised by the contrast between the delicate pyramid and the monumental church façade.

The picture conveys a calm, festive mood - a moment of contemplation and light. In an interior, it acts as an atmospheric accent that combines history, culture and seasonal atmosphere in one motif - ideal for rooms with a connection to the city, tradition or winter design.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
