About "Citrus fruits - balance in blue"

About the artwork

This work shows a strictly symmetrical arrangement of lime slices on a cool, blue background. At the centre of the composition is a single orange slice, which stands out clearly from the surrounding limes in terms of colour and form. The inspiration for this picture was the idea of contrast and focus in the midst of repetition.

The atmosphere is calm, almost clinically clear, and yet lively thanks to the bright citrus colours. The design language is reduced and graphic - circular elements in regular repetition create a sense of order and rhythm. The central orange disc acts as a deliberate break in this order and directs the eye to the centre - a visual pause.

The image conveys a message of individuality within the collective, of conscious deviation within a system. It invites us to reflect on the relationship between unity and uniqueness.

This mural harmonises particularly well with modern, Scandinavian, conceptual or pop art-inspired furnishing styles. It also makes an impact in kitchens, cafés or creative workspaces. Stylistically, it can be categorised as contemporary still life photography and graphic art.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
