About ‘Domburg beach’ by Sander Poppe

On a warm and clear summer evening in Domburg, this idyllic scene was captured. From a high dune, the view stretches across the vast Domburg beach and the glistening North Sea. The gentle murmur of the waves and the salty sea air provided the perfect setting for this special moment.

The light played a starring role: the low sun cast a beautiful sidelight over the beach, giving the sand a warm golden hue and the sea sparkled in deep shades of blue and purple. The long shadows of the dunes added depth to the image, while the last rays of the sun gently illuminated the coast.

Domburg, proudly situated on the coast of Zeeland, has attracted beach lovers and photographers for generations. The combination of wide sandy beaches, protective dunes and an endless horizon makes this place an iconic part of the Netherlands. On such summer evenings, there is a serene calm just minutes before sunset, when the day slowly dissolves into evening and the light reveals its warmest, softest colours.

This photo perfectly captures that unique summer atmosphere of Domburg: an enchanting interplay of nature, light and sea that takes you straight back to that one magical moment at the seaside.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
