About ‘Feeling happiness!’ by Sander Poppe

This atmospheric photograph captures the essence of Zeeland at a glance. In the foreground you can see the rolling dunes of Westkapelle, overgrown with waving marram grass gently stirred by the wind. Behind the dunes stretches the wide sandy beach, where you can take a lovely walk on a summer's day or enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Further on, the North Sea sparkles, which together with the landscape defines the unique character of this region.

On Walcheren, Zeeland's western peninsula, you experience enchanting sunsets every evening. The sky is filled with tiny sheep clouds that turn into beautiful shades of pink and red by the setting sun. This colourful spectacle creates a romantic and soothing atmosphere typical of Zeeland. Westkapelle is known for its protective dikes, vast nature and characteristic lighthouse. Not for nothing is Zeeland often praised as the most beautiful province in the Netherlands.

Hello, my name is Sander Poppe. I am a landscape and seascape photographer, born in Zeeland and living in the Alblasserwaard region of the Netherlands. Nature, and especially the sea, is the common thread running through my life and photography.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
