Walking downstream a mountain stream often leads to wonderful discoveries. In this case we skipped a large tourist attraction and followed a small river down the mountain through a dense and humid forest. It felt very much like a jungle and indeed...the amount of mosquitoes was in agreement with that. At a little crossing we found this small waterfall with the most amazing mossy trees surrounding it. I had to take quite a few images to get the water in the bottom part to look a little less chaotic, because the water was raging.
