The former buildings of the Hembrug site Zaandam. The beautiful large windows the building behind a grid fence. The trees and a slightly cloudy sky. Industrial design photographed in black and white. The walkway and the raw surroundings. In Zaandam, the former Hembrug site is a former munitions factory. The large buildings attract me immensely. I often walk past them to photograph. The details of the buildings are fascinating. The old workshops and factories the walkways and old doors the beautiful frames with large windows. There is so much to see. I often photograph in colour but also often in black and white.
Classic architecture exudes simplicity and tranquillity. But there is much to see while walking. The buildings refurbished or bog raw and abandoned give a lot of character. Zaankanteropavontuur with the camera armed through the country. The edges of cities and industrial estates, but also villages and coastlines. Photography digital and analogue from the camera for on the wall, of the living room waiting room, study or office. Or as wallpaper wall filling!
Zaankanteropavontuur.
Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
