This is the harbour of Hoorn, with on the right the old main tower from 1532 and on the left some buildings of the Port Administration Hoorn. Ships in the foreground.
A heron looks at the harbour of Hoorn and more at me of course, because a person who holds something in your direction is not just right, is it? That was a coincidence, because I like herons and this one was in the foreground, so I wanted to have it in order to create some perspective in the image. The picture was taken from the bridge between the Veermanskade and the Oude Doelenkade.
This photo belongs to the series Modern History and is therefore executed in black and white.
