This work shows an abstract photograph that captures metallic iridescent fabric in gently flowing folds. The surface reflects deliberately placed light, creating a vibrant play of colours in shades of blue and orange. The glowing dots in the picture are the result of deliberate blurring - so-called bokeh - created by a shallow depth of field. This technique gives the image an almost floating lightness and enhances the visual depth.
The inspiration for this image was the observation of how light refracts on textured materials - especially shiny textiles. The atmosphere is calm, but at the same time energised. The composition deliberately dispenses with figurative elements and instead relies on a creative formal language characterised by rhythm, contrast and light.
The picture conveys a sense of movement, change and subtle elegance. It invites contemplation and leaves room for individual associations. In interior design, it goes particularly well with modern, minimalist or industrial styles, but also with eclectic concepts that play with contrasts. It harmonises with current trends such as "quiet luxury", "neo-minimalism" or "soft industrial".
Its special feature lies in the combination of materiality and light - it looks like a visual poem of fabric and colour that does not dominate rooms but subtly enhances them.
