KLM Boeing 747-400M "City of Vancouver" (PH-BFV) The Boeing 747-400 is the improved version of the Boeing 747-300 aircraft type. The first test flight took place on 29 April 1988, the first commercial flight was on 9 February 1989, operated by Northwest Airlines. It is the best-selling version of the Boeing 747. A total of 693 of them were built; only 81 of the 747-300 were sold. KLM used the 747-400 (fully equipped to carry passengers) and 747-400M (part passenger, part cargo, often called combi). Due to KLM's 100th anniversary in October 2019, the aircraft has a sticker with the number 100. This picture was taken on 26 December 2019 along Buitenveldert Runway.
