About the artwork

This picture shows an orange slice in extreme close-up - an everyday object that is transformed into a fascinating art motif through macro photography. The photo was taken in a natural light setting that brings out the fruit's vibrant yellow and orange tones. The texture of the fruit flesh, the fine fibres and the juicy structure were the focus of my creative interest.

What fascinates me about citrus fruits is their graphic clarity and the almost architectural order inside. The idea for this picture came to me at breakfast - a moment when I consciously recognised the beauty of the everyday. I wanted to create an atmosphere that conveys freshness, clarity and naturalness without appearing artificial.

The picture is particularly suitable for modern kitchens, cafés or medical practices where a positive, vital atmosphere is desired. It combines aesthetics with a healthy attitude to life and its depth of detail encourages a closer look. In minimalist interiors in particular, it can act as a colour accent and visual statement.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
