The Waal Bridge near Nijmegen. An Icon of the oldest city in the Netherlands. In addition, this bridge still plays an important role in traffic flow within Nijmegen, although it is partly taken over by the second city bridge De Oversteek. In 2020, work therefore started on upgrading the bridge to allow traffic to flow faster. This bridge is also an important link during the Four-Day Festivities, both for the walkers and for the festivities that take place under the bridge. This photo was taken after a few days of rainy weather, because of this there were puddles under the bridge that I could use for a mirror image. Because the sun was still low, I got warm colours and nice drop shadows. The weather play created an almost perfect circle.
