About the artwork

Monument Valley (Navajo: Tse'Bii'Ndzisgaii) is an area in the United States, on the border between the states of Utah and Arizona, known for the unique rock formations found there. It is located on the Colorado Plateau 100 km west of Four Corners, the point where the states of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico meet. Monument Valley is part of the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park of the Navajo Indians, and is accessible via U.S. Route 163. Monument Valley is perhaps one of the most photographed areas in America. The backdrop of red rock formations and the surrounding desert has served as a set in many a western and documentary about the Wild West. Some films shot here include the 1939 John Ford-directed film Stagecoach starring John Wayne, Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West and Clint Eastwood's The Eiger Sanction. Ford would make nine more films in the area. Back to the Future III was also partially shot here. Monument Valley has also figured in television movies and series, advertising campaigns and travel brochures as the symbol of the West.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
