When you drive from the Frisian village of Weidum towards Oosterwierum (Easterwierrum), just before the village there is an exit to the hamlet of Tsjerkebuorren.
When you take the exit, after a few hundred metres you come across this beautiful little tower, located on a mound with a cemetery.
Formerly (14th century), the Nikolaaskerk stood here, the church building of which was demolished in 1905; the tower remained.

The photo is perfect for wallpapering a wall because of its panoramic crop.
