About "Oleander at high altitude"

About the artwork

High above Athens, at an altitude of 277 metres to be precise, you can look out over Athens from Lycabettus hill. Lycabettus is the highest hill in the city.
By comparison, the Acropolis Hill is 156 metres high.
On a bright Easter Monday in May 2024 (because the Julian calendar is used in Greece instead of the Gregorian one, Easter here usually does not coincide with Easter in the Netherlands, among others), we went up the hill by cable car inside. An extraordinary experience.
Of course we enjoyed the view, but of course my eye eventually fell back on the beautiful oleanders blooming there.
May in Athens (and all over Greece) is fantastic for flower lovers. Throughout the city, oleanders and bougainvillea bloomed. And a little later in the month, Jacaranda's colour the streets purple with their flowers.
The smell of oleander can transport you straight back to that one holiday in a Mediterranean country.
For me, this scent immediately takes me back to Athens.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
